World Flowboarding Championships

My family has been involved in the flowboarding world since, oh, around 2007. So I have been photographing flowboarders for several years now. I don’t have any special water sports equipment, such as a water housing…it’s just me and my camera. I, of course, love to photograph both my husband and son flowboarding and have captured several great shots of them. When I was asked to photograph Sean Silveira, the three time world flowboarding champion (who happens to be a friend of ours) for the World Flowboarding Championships poster I was definitely excited. I have photographed Sean on several occasions but for this shoot he said that we just needed a good spray. So Sean rode and I shot and we sent in our favorites and this is what happened…
