A while back I went with my husband to one of his gigs at the University of Tampa. No matter how many times I have seen the Team Rootberry show it always amazes me what they do on stage. To some extent every show is different even in some small way because every audience is different; and as most performers know, everything doesn’t always go as planned (sometimes I don’t even know if they had planned to do something or if the show just went that way!) My husband, Jonathan Root and his juggling teammate Bill Berry have been performing together for 13 years as Team Rootberry. Their show includes comedy, sword swallowing, juggling and a poignant message about following your dreams. These are fantastic Cheri!! My favorites are the one of Bill sword swallowing and the one of Jonathan on the pogo ball… you captured some great moments from that show!
Jonathan and Bill are an amazing team!! These pictures are “cool”…first how does Bill get his leg up so high???…he could be a “Rockette”!!! and Jonathan looks like he is in agony with the balloon picture!! Very good pictures..makes me smile!!
I’ve actually had the privilege of attending one of their shows! I was teaching at the time, and took half a day off just to go see them! lol! It was well worth it… fabulous! Every component of the show had me on either the edge of my seat or bowled over with laughter. I would gladly watch them again! Oh yeah, I also got to hold the styro cups for their air gun presentation! hehe!! FUN!!!
