I met the Kong Family at a local park to hang out until sunset and get some family shots. I must say that Tracy and Freddie have two absolutely beautiful children-Kai and Hailie-and they were full of energy (just the way it should be!) I think Kai had a little more fun checking out my camera and wanting to “assist” me than actually wanting to be in the pictures but we managed to get him in the majority of them! And as you’ll see-an important family photo shoot tip: Always bring sippy cups! This is an amazing and fun family and I would like for you to meet them…
I made a special trip back to Lake Jackson, Texas especially for the wedding of Angela & Brian. I have known Angela for several years and when she asked me to shoot her wedding in Texas it meant a lot to me. I also had the opportunity to take their engagement pictures while I was visiting my family over the Christmas holidays. Angela and Brian were married at St. Michael’s Catholic Church and held their reception at the Lake Jackson Civic Center. The bonus of shooting a small town Texas wedding-well…even though I haven’t lived there for over 5 years I knew the wedding coordinators, Terri Bernhardt and her daughter Amy of Storybook Weddings so it made for a great day and the best wedding cake I have ever had (I tried to take a piece home to my sister but it didn’t quite make it!)
