Sonia & Andrew: Engaged | Orlando Engagement Photographer

I am just going to go ahead and say it and get it out of the way, “Sonia is beautiful!” and I had such a great time on this photo shoot with Sonia and Andrew. They are a couple that are not only madly in love but they have that comfort with each other that is so natural it made photographing them that much more fun. They are getting married in a few months and I cannot wait to photograph their Leu Gardens wedding. For their engagement we headed out to Cocoa Beach and walked around to several locations-and stayed until the sunset. Oh, and if you haven’t met Sonia and Andrew yet…well…you probably should so here is a short introduction…

A Trip To Tallahassee

My blog has been very lonely…mainly because I have been very busy! I have lots to share but have not had a chance to put together my blog posts-but they are coming soon. So, while I madly work on those, I thought I would share a little of my trip to Tallahassee with my son. Cody will be going to college at Florida State University in the fall so we made a short road trip just to “hang out”. We had a great time staying in the Hotel Duval-a very cool hotel located just a few blocks from downtown. We ate at an ultra hip sushi place-Jasmines and found an amazing pizza hang out-Momo’s Pizza. We got tons of FSU garb and walked around the campus. Cody took several of the shots below and we managed to get one on the self-timer. Here is our 24 hours in Tallahassee…

Easter at the Roots

We, as a family, celebrate this day and all of what it means. Living in Orlando and not near any family we have started our own Easter Sunday tradition of brunch at Brio. Cody always tries something different, which impresses me and we, of course, get dessert. Cody got his Easter basket this morning and I think he was pretty excited. We are spending the rest of the day hanging out as a family-watching basketball, playing basketball, planting some veggies and plants and taking a bike ride around the lake and most of all…remembering why we celebrate today.

Happy Easter! Here is a little of our Easter Sunday…

To Brio we go…

Jennifer & John: Engaged | Orlando Engagement Photographer

How fun to be able to go to Morocco, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom for your engagement photo shoot-especially when you live in Orlando, Florida and only have to drive 20 minutes to Disney’s Epcot! So that is exactly what we did for Jennifer and John’s engagement photo shoot. I met Jennifer and John several years ago when they were both students at UCF and can’t wait to shoot their wedding in October. They have spent a lot of time at Disney and are annual pass holders so it was a natural fit to go to Epcot and spend the day exploring the countries. We also walked Disney’s Boardwalk, which is another special place to them and a place that, after living in Orlando for six years, didn’t even know about! They are adorable, fun and like to kiss a lot…so there ya go!

I am sure all of their friends will appreciate the fact that the shark made an appearance…

Tara & Ryan: Married Pt. 2 | Central Florida Wedding Photographer

This is the story of Tara and Ryan’s beautiful wedding continued with their wedding reception that was held at the Timacuan Country Club in Lake Mary. If you missed Part 1 you can see that here. The cake was provided by Party Flavors and was created to compliment Tara’s dress-beautiful! The candy bar was a huge hit and I love how they personalized the candy bar with all of the bridal party “favorites”. Touches of Tara and Ryan were on every aspect of the reception which made it that much more special for all of the family and friends in attendance. And DJ Lou provided the tunes for the bride and groom’s first dance and the dancing continued right up until Tara and Ryan left to the crackling of tons of sparklers. Wishing them a lifetime of love, laughs and happiness…

Their first dance…A yummy candy bar…Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances…This is one of my favorites…I adore how he is looking at her…
