Tara & Ryan: Married Pt. 1 | Central Florida Wedding Photographer

I have been anxiously awaiting to post this gorgeous wedding of Tara and Ryan and had a truly difficult time narrowing down my favorite shots…so this will be a two-part blog post beginning with the pre-ceremony, ceremony and after ceremony followed by Part 2-the reception.

It’s hard for me to put into words what it meant to me to photograph this most wonderful day for them. I have known Tara and Ryan for years now and was elated when they asked me to be their photographer. We actually started off with the Photobooth “Save the Date” photo shoot and then shortly afterwards shot their engagement in Winter Park. And then on Saturday, January 29th they became Mr. & Mrs. Gasparovic or kindly known as “The Gaspos”. Their day was nothing less than perfect-the kind of fairy tale perfection every bride dreams of. So here is a little of that perfection to enjoy…

A first look…

Celebrate at Fantasy Surf | Orlando Photographer

Fantasy Surf is a great place to celebrate and have a party! I recently did a photo shoot for Fantasy Surf, in Kissimmee, FL to highlight their party packages. The kids had a great time laughing and giggling, eating cake and flowboarding. If you are interested in their party packages go here to their website and check it out.

Cody (flowboard instructor-and my son!) helps the kids get onto the wave and teaches them how to ride.

Harper’s Baptism | Orlando Event Photographer

Harper was baptized on February 20th and I felt truly honored to be able to document this special ceremony for the St. Onge family. And speaking of family-they came from California, New Hampshire, New York and all over Florida for this amazing day. The last time the entire family was all together was for Andrea and Ed’s wedding three years ago so this was a day to celebrate. Harper was a perfect little lady for the entire ceremony and did not even budge when, as the Priest aptly warned us, cold water was poured onto her head symbolizing her baptism. I’ve said it before and I’m sure I will say it numerous times in the years to come but I adore this precious family. So here is Harper’s day…

Fantasy Surf | Orlando Photographer

Fantasy Surf, located in Kissimmee, opened their doors in October of 2010 to a very thrilled flowboarding community. I am a tad bit familiar with this since my son and husband have been flowboarding since 2007 and both hold national titles from the Flow Tour 2009. Fantasy Surf houses a double wide flowrider that local flowboarders and tourists have been enjoying for the past six months. At Fantasy Surf you can not only flowboard and bodyboard but also shop at the Surf Shop and grab something to eat at the Lull (the pizza is amazing by the way!) And if you are visiting you can stay at the Fantasy World Resort Villas located on the property right behind Fantasy Surf. What an amazing facility they have opened for Central Florida. I was privileged to photograph the Fantasy World Resort and Fantasy Surf, including the flowboarding instructors, for their marketing campaigns and encourage everyone to visit Fantasy Surf and “catch a wave…”

The riders featured below are the Fantasy Surf flowboarding instructors including my son Cody along with Gilberto, Vanessa and Brad. Also featured is Sean Silveira-two time world champion and three time national champion who is sponsored by Fantasy Surf.

Spotlight On Pitt | Orlando Event Photographer

The University of Pittsburgh Alumni Association held a special event for Pitt alumni members at the Lake Nona Country Club called Spotlight on Pitt. This event was actually scheduled for last February, 2010…but due to a terrible snow storm (scratch that…blizzard!) their staff was unable to fly to Orlando to host the event. Thankfully it was re-scheduled for this year and the weather held out for them in Pittsburgh although we can’t say the same for Orlando-this was the night that Orlando had a major bout of thunderstorm and tornado warnings! I can definitely vouch for the loyalty and dedication of the central Florida based Pitt alumni-they braved the weather and had an amazingly successful event! The university’s Chancellor Mark A. Nordenberg took center stage as he addressed alumni on the advancements, growth and present state of the University of Pittsburgh. He even included some fun stats-such as Pitt being ranked as one of the top ten schools with the happiest students. Here is the Spotlight on Pitt
