In the Meantime: Some Sunday Chat

Faith. It is what I live by. It is what I am rooted in. It is what got me through 2009 and will be with me throughout 2010. It is how I live my life and in everything I do. It is a part of my every day world that I live in. I was introduced to a magazine a little over five years ago by the youth pastor, Steve Corn, at our former church in Texas. That magazine is “Relevant” with the tagline-God. Life. Progressive Culture. And it is all that (and a bag of chips!) I have since moved to Orlando where Relevant is based. Relevant covers all music, all movies, all world issues and everything in between and when they discuss the most relevant movies of the decade they are truly relevant movies that we have all seen, “secular” movies (for lack of a better way to describe them.) I am not fond of using the word “secular” because it seems to be used to describe something not christian, which is not the case. My faith is part of my every day, “secular” life and this magazine speaks to that. I have been a subscriber for about five years now. I think you should check out their website and see what you think…
