My Roots | Packaging

I truly believe in being authentic and true to who you are. From the beginning I have wanted my brand and my packaging to also represent me and who I am…where I come from. So to honor this part of me, little pieces of “my roots” are sent in each client package that they receive with their images and those pieces come in the form of some made-from-scratch salt water taffy. And you ask…what in the heck would salt water taffy have to do with my roots? As I said, authenticity is important to me so I special order my taffy from a taffy shop on the Oregon coast and have it shipped in and therein lies the “roots” part. My family is deeply rooted in the west coast-California and Oregon. So the west coast holds a special place in my soul. I have lived in California but never actually lived in Oregon…although a good portion of the population of Oregon is probably related to me! As a little girl and on into adulthood I have ventured several times to the beauty and majesty that is Oregon and always feel a sense of peace there…and every time we headed to the coast I always got some taffy!
